Dramatic and inspiring, it offers a truly unique experience ranging from serene to wild in a matter of hours. This painting is meant to capture the fun and lighter wild side of an afternoon on one of the sandy shores of the greatest of the great lakes.
The original piece was created with watercolor, graphite, and soft pastel on 100% cotton paper, mounted on a cradled birch wood panel and set in a handmade solid maple float frame.

Prints are available on Elegance Velvet 100% cotton rag paper. This heavy-weight (310 gsm) textured paper produces vibrant colors and rich, deep shadow detail.

Handmade solid wood frames
All original pieces in the Stories of Light + Color Collection are watercolor, graphite, and/or soft pastel and chalk on 100% cotton paper hand-mounted cradled birch wood panels and finished with an archival wax. Each piece is then set in a handmade maple or oak float frame.
